May the Lyons Roar

It remains to be seen just how World Hope will be able to help those devastated by katrina, but i am so thankful that we have them to turn to at this time. it is powerful to be able to tell our congregation and others that if they make contributions to world hope it will be used effectively. to see how dr. lyons has shaped this ministry into the powerhouse that it is gives me a deep sense of satisfaction in this ministry. she is also an example of what someone can do when they have a passion for something that needs to be done, and is not. may that passion spread from world hope into other areas needing truth and action.

May God's richest blessings rest upon everyone assisting world hope to bring help and comfort to those hurricane victims.

Many of the people of our congregation at peace river are still either displaced or continuing to repair their damaged homes. our church property still needs tens of thousands of dollars of repairs, but is very functional. the people hit by katrina will need substantial help for years to come, and i am so thankful that there will be at least a measure of help from our denomination through world hope.

peace ...... peace river wesleyan ..... punta gorda fl
